What really annoys me on the phone

Why do people always say "What?" before I'm done even talking? Then you have to start your sentence over again just so they can do it again halfway through........Sometimes they even repeat "what" several times before I can even manage to start what I was saying over again.....

I hate when people mumble on the phone and I can't understand what they're saying, then they get angry when I ask them to repeat themselves.

I don't mumble....

More so I think my point applies to things that aren't on the phone as well, for example people say "What" like they don't understand what I said, but then immediately realize what I just said. Its like....people ask for it to be explained before I even say it........

This post seems kind of random....

Sort of like: You know what bugs me about pavement? Like, when they use blacktop because it's cheap and have to replace it every 2 years because it falls apart when they could've used asphalt and done it once in 8-10 years.... yeah man, got any Dong-Dongs or Zingers.... I've got the munchies.

thats the equivalent of putting salt on your food before even tasting it .... that drives me nuts ... i used to cook professionally ... i stopped putting salt in my dishes because of that

Maybe you need to talk to people who don't care enough to say "what", just "uh-huh, yeah, that's interesting. " My one friend used to trail off into mumbles when I talked to him on the phone ( not saying you do ) and I would just not say anything until he spoke up, or I would ask him the same question over again until I could understand him.
