How many heatsinks should I use on a 64mb card? Should I use 1 heatsink per pair of ram or 1 small heatsink per piece?

That is probly a personal preference i guess. Maybe 1 heatsink covering 4 chips would dissipate heat a little better since it would be bigger? (<-- asking other opinions). If you use Artic Silver epoxy, be careful not to get some on those little metal pins on the side of you ram chips, AS is conductive and would short out your chips.

Do whatever works. If you can cover multiple chips in a row with one HS then go for it. If it's easier to use smaller sinks then go for it. It's all personal preference. Good luck

I use a BlueOrb on the GPU, & single dram size copper ram sinks on each of the 8 chips on my GeForce3.
