If luck strikes, I'll soon have enough money to buy myself a new graphics card to replace my old (Well, actually just three months old) 7600GS. I'm thinking of a 9600GT, 8800GS or 8800GT. I'm 15, and don't have any real income except from the irregular coins I get for selling and fixing people's computers, so price is a huge issue.
So, what should I get? ATI is not an option, as I'm a huge nVidia fanboy (Hence the nVidia forum). Price/performance ratio matters a bit more than raw power, as any of them will beat my 7600GS' 2800 points in 3DMark06 hands down.
I currently run on an 1280x1024 screen, but I'll get an HD projector to the summer (Yay for online contests!), so I will be gaming in high res. That's why I don't just go hands down for the cheap GS, as the 192bit bus might be a bit limiting with AA and larger resolutions...
EDIT: And it has to be from http://multitronic.fi, or another finnish store.
