Yeah, kind of old news now. This is so dumb though, a quality cable will make no difference with a short run like the one they tested. Put a 50 foot coat hanger against a 50 foot monster cable and the difference will be quite apparent.

Do I think monster cables are worth the money? no.

Do I think monster cables are better than a coat hanger? Absolutely.

I'm one to talk...I used to buy Monster Cable everything...I probably would have bought a Monster Cable extension cord if they sold one.

It is good stuff...But boy is it expensive compared to the competition.

After finding mono-price it is hard for me to justify ponying up all them duckies when I can buy what I feel is comprable cables for many bones less.

I'm going to do the DIY thing...Seems the way to go...Especially if your solder skills are nil...One way to practice that is for sure.
