Best Voice Chat Software When Playing Games

I am after a voice chat client that I can use with a headset when playing games like Diablo 2 L.O.D I host a game with a few friends and we used to use our XBOX 360's chat function when playing 2 players.

So what the best chat client software out there I can have running in the back of my games to chat to people preferably groups.

There is alot you can use. Ventrilo and Teamspeak are two I use. The most I prefer is Ventrilo because most people use Vent on WoW. Just have to find a Public Server to join or maybe someone here could let you into there Private server to join.

I've always used Vent when playing WoW and counterstrike, it's free and works great. Just got to know someone with a good server (monthly fee to have your own server)

When I used to game regularly, I always used Vent.

Now, I only have time to game, like, once a month

Skype has the best quality in my opinion, just remember that the MICs are always on just like a phone call. So make sure whoever you're playing with is mindful of their background or bodily noises.

Ventrilo. I don't like hardly any of the teamspeak codecs.

I use Skype for me and two other people who play together, its easy to use and sounds fantastic. I used to use Teamspeak and then Ventrilo, but moved on to Skype and haven't looked back.
