DFI LT P35 Bios and Temps

I got quite a few questions and am hoping somebody here can help me. The cpu I'm using is a q6600

- How can I affectively lower my cpu vid control? I set the value to 1.2875v in BIOS, but CPU-Z reads it as 1.311v at idle and 1.280 during Prime testing (due to vdroop). How can I get CPU-Z to read it as 1.2875v?

- Some people have Thermal Management Control and Vdroop Control enabled while others have it disabled when overclocking. Why would you want to turn off those options? I thought TMC gives more accurate temp readings and vdroop prevents loss of voltage when the cpu is under load.

Thanks for the help!

Welcome to O/C Forums!

First off there's noway you will get a 100% dead-on-balls accurate reading for voltages. There's always going to be some fluctuations which is normal.

My vcore is set: Cpu VTT= 1.10 & Special VID Control to 100Mv which bios shows 1.25v. CpuZ & HW Monitor both show 1.30v

For better ocing results, I have my Thermal Management Control disabled along with C1E and EIST.
