Hi guys,

I am looking at an auction selling RMA replacement memory. It's a 2X1GB set of Crucial Ballistix.

Those replacement memory, are they inferior to the one you buy retail?

I guess I should have said same part # = same whether its new retail or RMA replacement.

It's DDR2 memory.

By the way, what would be a performance if 2 X 1GB non-kit PC2-8500 are used instead of 2X1GB PC2-8500 in a kit?

I think two non-kit PC2-8500 mems are exactly same model.

Would make no difference. Dual channel at the same timing is equal
