to the forums!

Can we get more info, such as the individual scores? Do you have drivers installed? etc etc

Sounds like your PCIe Link width is defaulting to x1 instead of x16.

Use CPUZ to check what it is set to (under Mainboard). If it is indeed x1 then try playing with the NB voltages. This happens on my board and I have to fix the NB to 1.4V.

Did you ensure the drivers are clean installed? Don't just re-install over your old Radeon drivers (for example).

7800GT OC & 7800GT use the same drivers, install them or suffer low scores and game performance

A 7800gt OC is exactly the same as the 7800gt except that the clock speeds have just been changed, so it would use the same drivers

What are temps like?

If you look at the card, it isn't dusty or anything, right?

yah i cleaned my old pc parts befor i put them into my new computer so its 80% clean/ there's **** in there that is hard to get out with anything IE cottan swab or whatnot my temp on the gpu is between 50-60 based on hwmonitor

also, uninstalled driver(not the smartest thing todo as my computer went haywire from not having a proper display driver installed), to finally getting windows to boot and installing/redownloading it

We had a very similar system until I switched out my video card. The one thing was that my Q6600 was not OC'ed at all. I ran this test at stock 2.4. Here is a copy / paste of one of my 3D06 runs. Total score for my setup was 4611. GPU was at stock clocks as well. Perhaps a decent check for drivers or something that could be causing a failure.

Also make sure you don't have any sort of stray processes running, perhaps a virus scan or maybe a piece of spyware running without realizing.
