Trying to figure out some music, would like help!

This question is mostly aimed at the Brits, but its likely that some of you Americans may be able to help.

There is a piece of (classical) music featured heavily in a lot of TV programs over the last year or more. Its been a title piece of sky sports football, gordan ramsays shows, even the top gear polar special. Its a thunder piece, with almost staccato violins I think. Its very dramatic and very catching. I can't find out what it is though!

Anyone know what it is? Best I've done so far is a lead on hells kitchen that turned out to be some r&b rap rubbish.

http://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear...-2007-a-20392/ is a list of all the songs. Any idea around what time it played?

Looking over those quickly I would probably guess you mean;
Corner Stone Cues - Requiem for a Tower

Watching it now myself. Not from UK so probably will not recognize what music you are talking about, but will post back if anything seems similar.

Carmina Burana springs to mind if its football. Unfortunately I'm a rugby fan myself...Ospreys FTW!

Well after watching it, my guess would be either Clint Mansell - Winter Overture, or Corner Stone Cues - Requiem for a Tower. Hope that helps.

Yeah, still haven't watched it, but I think it could be one of those two. I'm currently in the process if rebuilding the computer due to a suspected hard drive controller failure
