The fastest EIDE or SATA II hard drive IN THE WORLD!!!! (for under 300 bones)

What is it? The Raptor 150 Gb. or is there an even faster on out? I am looking to upgrade my 7200.10 HD's with something faster. I have considered SSD's however I cant find one for under $350 that is as fast as a Raptor X so I am currently assuming there isn’t one.

I have considered getting another 7200.10 and doing a RAID 0 however everything I have read says a single 10k will severely outperform two 7200's in RAID 0 for anything other then server usage.

Well is the new Raptor the way to go or would two 150 GB ones in RAID 0 be a faster choice?

You transfering large files? If so, raid will be faster. Booting will also be faster

No I am not transferring large files. I use my comp for gaming and multimedia.
