I've seen three pin wires with inline resistors to drop fan voltages. But I can't seem to find any for 4-pin molex connections. Anyone know where I can find them? I don't want to use a fan controller if possible.

I dont know anywhere that sells them but you could always make them yourself.
True, but I'd prefer to buy them from someone that's done the ground work to determine what resistor size causes what drop in voltage, and what that voltage drop corresponds to in fan speed drop. So making them would be a last resort. If 3-pin resistor wires had their specs listed for the resistors, that would be a great starting point, but I haven't found any specs as to what they use.
