Help ocing g92 gts

I got up to 810/2023/1154 with just a tiny bit of artifacts. What should I push higher, and what should I lower?

Try to drop your mem oc a smidge and then play with the core first and if that dont fly try the shaders. I find that the memory is what does me wrong all the time on every card I have ever oc'd.

Try each slider in turn to see what they do on their own. For the core you'll have to increase the shader's a little to get over a certain point, and vice-versa w/ the shaders.

When you do each in turn you'll see the kind of artifacts or error each slider produces as you approach the limit.

Then put all the maxes together, and adjust as necessary.

Ok, heres an update. I pushed the memory down to 1100, and the core to 840 and BOOM bsod...
I rebooted, and my system stayed on searching for pata devices for like 10 minutes, then it moved on to getting out of the bios and it kept saying some stuff about nvidia and intel. Since it was late I said to myself screw this, I will fix it tomorrow. This morning, I turn on my pc, and it boots up just fine...wtf?! Ill try playing with it a little more today and see how it does.

I think those clocks are way too high and unstable. To really test your card, wait for a hot day, run 3Dmark 05/06 on a loop overnight, then run the ATI cube for several hours, and if it is still stable then play games straight for 6-8 hours. I found Crysis, Assasins Creed, and Oblivion to be really good in picking up artifacts. If it's still stable after all that, then you should be fine.

P.S. Just as a reference, I do not know of anyone who is fully stable at the clocks in your sig. unless their card is heavily Volt-modded and with superb cooling.

Every day here is a hot day lol. Ill try that method, I was playing around with the settings and assassins creed today. Really fun game, and good stress test all in one lol. Btw, I am not fully stable with clocks in my sig, but its enough for a couple runs of aquamark.

I like to go as high as I can on my OCs for benchmarks, but for 24/7 use I always drop my clocks considerably. That way, whenever I get a CTD playing a game I never have to second guess my overclocks. Moreover, realistically by downclocking just a bit you only loose 1 or 2 FPS, which you can't ever notice in a game. Well worth the stability assurance in the end.

Same, I hate it when my game crashes in the middle of a firefight.
