Ballistix Tracer DDR3?

Does anyone know if the sexy looking Tracers are going to come in DDR3 flavours? Been looking around recently and I cant find anything on it. Would be interesting to see, with Nehalem just around the corner I can see DDR3 becoming far far more popular.. seems to me Crucial should release (or plan on) some tracers

rucial's Ballistix line of DDR2 and DDR3 memory all bear the same resemblance. They share the same aluminum heatspreaders, with the standard Ballistix burnt orange and the Tracers black. The Ballistix, Crucial and Micron logos are silkscreened on the heatspreaders. There is no clear indication as to the specifications of the memory other than looking up the model number off the stickers on the memory.

Ahh, good to hear. Ordinarily Im not into over-the-top flashy pc cases, but the Tracers really are appealing to me. Thanks for the reply mate

I've got normal Ballistix DDR3 and it rocks as much as Ballistix DDR2 did.

So as far as DDR3 goes, ballistix are recommended? Just trying to get an idea as to what my next build is going to look like. Im thinking either an Abit or DFI Board, though not sure about what flavour of CPU.. If I was to stick to non-Nehalem, I would get a Q6600 as they are a good 200 NZD cheaper than the Q9450, and for its main purpose (SETI) its probably not worth it. Gah, wish I wasnt so addicted to overclocking

On a side note, since when did Crucial make 2*2gb kits of DDR2 Tracers? And since when did they have a red variety? o.O
