The reason for the build is that the summer temperatures were causing the 9800gx2 temps to exceed 90C with 100% fan speed.
It is my first project, tho reviewing many previous builds on this forum helped.
The CM690 is a mid-tower that is slightly deeper that fits the 11-inch long 9800gx2 with ease.
You can see space is at a premium, so not much room to do much else.
I have not run any benchies on it yet. Used Everest Ultimate for sensor temps. The E8500 was idling at about 32C and 49C. Not sure why one core is so much higher than the other.
The 9800gx2 temperature was at about 53C.
The fans on the radiator are scythe s-flex F (1600 rpm). I got those because the stock yate loons had no clearance for the #6 nuts. The noisiest fan in the system is the north bridge fan on the 790i mobo.
