Any one had experience with GeIL memory? GeIL and good?

They should be able to do 450mhz but much more than that is probably luck. If you want a guaranteed 500mhz pick up a set of DDR2-1000 modules. The price difference should be small.
 
i was looking for some good memory that i would overclock at around 900-1000
and found these GeIL modules....i have never heared of the compant..but it looks pretty good.

better than ocz platinum?

they're pretty good, from what I hear they're most compatible with ASUS boards. They've been around for a long time, and back in the DDR1 days, i remember them being one of the best. I haven't paid attention to RAM much these days, but I'm sure they're still in the upper echelon of memory manufacturers
 
Geil is good stuff. Had to RMA some "Golden Dragons" back in the day. They didnt complain at all. Took a couple weeks thou. If it fails memtest, they will replace it.
 
I had 2 sticks of PC 3200 that worked great.
That was a great computer.
Too bad I didn't know about UPS.
