Well I have finally had enough of the squealing, buzzing, blue screens, trying to get my X-Fi to play nice on my setup. I am replacing and I was looking at some other cards and was wondering which of these would be the best choice. I am looking at these 2 because they do have 64bit drivers available for download and I have read some good things about them.

Auzentech X-Plosion

I would go with the Auzentech card, but you can also look for Asus's Xonar cards, which are using the C-media 8788 chip, which was also used on the famed Auzentech X-Meridian cards.

I have heard good things about the auzentech cards. I also like the 192KHz smple rate of the bGears card also. I have a set of the logitech Z-5300 THX speakers and with the problems I am having with this x-fi, I can't get it to sound decent. Even the onboard sound is better than this x-fi. The auzentech is more in my price range. The asus card is out of my price range.

I have the Bgears B-Enspire card atm. The sound is great if you turn the quality on the card to max. Stock settings can be a little subpar though.
