Crucial FTL


SO i have a pair of stix go bad, RMA, good and fast RMA.......new sticks die in 3 days LMFAO.......

Well im sick of this ****er, what set you guys recomend me buy now? My lil corsairs nevuh die on meee

G skillz seem cheap, but are they reliable? I might just get some dominators......

G.Skill is good and their warranty is basically:

Send sticks
Get new sticks back

They don't ask questions or anything.

Anyone know if G Skillzz are d9's...id really like 900mhz @ 4-4-4-12 at 2.2v or less

That depends on which set you want.HZ's are D9 if you get the 2x1gb set,not sure about the 2x2gig sets.But it might be your mobo some 680i are known for killing ram no matter what brand

i have 4x1 gkill d9gmh, they do 1000 4-4-4-12 with 2.2v, and 2x1 gskill d9gct that do 1100 5-4-4-12 with 2.25v, and 1200+ 5-5-5-15 with 2.3v

I just had 2x1GB Ballistix die on me too. I think I'll just ebay them once I get them back from RMA and get something else.

I have one stick of 2GB Gskills and they are currently doing 1112mhz on either 1.8 or 1.9V. I like them so much that I ordered some more

My mobo is not the problem i know, it has had corsair in it for years, and the crucials are the ones who keep dyin...good lil corsairz...

680i does bad things to d9s

things that are so dirty, you cant get water hot enuff to scrub away the filth.

I have never had a problem with Crucial in 7yrs.

Maybe it's because I smoke cigarettes around my system, and keep it on 24hrs a day.

Neither of my dual-sided 8500 kits ever died on me, and so far my single-sided 6400 Tracers are holding up pretty well.
