All of a sudden Vista-Home-Prem taking 3 times as long to boot

I dont recall installing recent,
but just recently i realised when my Vista-Home Prem is loading the bar that runs across the screen @ startup is running across 13 times before the welcome screen comes on.

ive ALWAYS counted it, and its always been 4 times.
man i just upgraded from an X2 5200+ to a Phenom X4 9750, im not expecting it to drastically boot faster, but certainly not slower???

Upgrading to a new processor generally requires at the MINIMUM fresh driver installs for it, and at the most a full computer reinstall. Especially switching from dual core to quad core. Try searching for windows update and making sure you have the most up to date drivers. Or reinstall your latest motherboard drivers.
