sli overclocking questions

hey all,

can you independently overclock cards that are in sli? or do you have to run each card as the systems only card and overclock them one at a time?

AFAIK, you must independently OC them, then put them into SLI..

is there any advantage to having two of the same cards, like 2 EVGA 8800gt's, versus 1 evga 8800gt and 1 BFG 8800gt?

well there shudnt be, i have 2 xfx 9600gts A.D. editons and its fine i feel better with the exact same cards

should be just fine. If the cards have different clocks, they will default to the "slower" card IIRC
