I'm running:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 3.8ghz
2 x VisionTek 4850s in crossfire.

I was wondering what other people were getting? Thanks.

P.S. A single card was like 12-13k

Ive got 15.8k 3dmark 06 with
E6600 @3.6ghz
2x 3870 Powercolor and MSI (GPU-830mhz/mems-2400mhz)

Well thats about the right score as far as i can tell. The key is to overclock your GPU and graphics ram.
For those that reached 20k above I belive they've already voltmodded their cards to achieve very high overclocks of their GPUs.

3DM06: 13951 - E6550@3290 MHz, Sapphire HD4870 @ 790/1100

06 depends a lot on the CPU, you need high CPU clocks to push up your score. What does your GPU section read?

SM 2.0 Score 6022
SM 3.0 Score 7208
CPU Score 2959

In order to see the real power of the 4850 crossfire, try doing some benchmarks that test higher resolutions and AA.

The 4850 really scales well at higher resolutions.

The '06 benchmark is pretty outdated (1280x1024 resolution), try Vantage if possible.

+1 to CPU remarks

Vantage should be used, not 3dmark06. 06 is heavily CPU oriented at the default resolution and quality settings.

What are you SM 2.0 and 3.0 scores? That would give us a better indication on what is normal and what isn't.

This is what i get with a single 4870. I was really hoping for more since I was getting 15,300's with my G92 GTS. I need to put my Gskill's back in as I can tweak them abit higher than the Tracers I am testing now.

3DMark Score
16417 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score
6270
SM 3.0 Score
7547
CPU Score
5129

Vantage is only Vista AFAIK...

Doesn't everyone run Vista?

If not, you should. It rocks. :)

Still, we could use his 2.0 and 3.0 SM scores, that would helps us determine if his 06 score is right or not.

Hi guys, thanks for the responses.

Unfortunately I use XP 64-bit, I will be running the benchmarks again and give you guys the SM scores (about 20 min from this post).

Sorry for the delay, I just ran SM2 and SM3 tests and this is what I got:

SM2.0 Score: 7389
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 8329
CPU Score: 3384

This is with 8.7 Beta drivers.

I kinda thought CPU would be higher....

E7200 @ 3.8ghz :(. I guess I could bump it to 4.0ghz I just like that I hardly have to raise the vcore for 3.8ghz.

Looks a little low. Did you run the test with everything on the lowest setting or application controlled? Such as details, high performance, catalyst AI enabled, etc?

The CPU increase will help, but there's something else missing too. Your crossfire is working though, which is a good sign. It's really not too bad though, I'd expect you are about 1000-1500 points below average for 3.8 dual core. If you had settings at default (like high quality texture detail in CCC) that would take those points away.
