I have 80 mm papst fans and they are so quiet that you can run them at 12V without being bothered! So I'd go for them.

haha this might be tru but sound is such a subjective thing.... the yate loon 80's i linked to are not loud at 12v... they are on the low side of noise... but i am a QUIET FREAK.... if you take a look at my server you will under stand... i have an antec tricool 120mm being fed 5v with the speed switch on medium :eek: its MAYBE 600 rpms... and i still can hear it @ 3 in the morning with nothing else going on.... guess i got sensitive ears, cus same goes for music, when its loud to me others think its too quiet.
