So I have 2 linux OSs on my system, one was skrewed so II reinstalled on another drive, butt the partitioner in YaST always gets stuck at iinitializing so I can't do anything with that. I do have Partition Magic 7 in windows, so I can get rid of it that way, but then Grub would skrew up right, cause I changed something & didn't resave grub?

You can use a diisk called suoergrub to redo the grub boot loader or linux systen rescue disk

You could also use parted magic linux partitioner or gparted to fix or remove partitions

Parted Magic http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Syst...agic-Partition-Manager-DirectBoot-30664.shtml

GParted http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

Super Grub http://linux.softpedia.com/get/System/Boot/Super-Grub-Disk-8071.shtml

Do you know of a open source app. for windows that can delete RieserFS partitions? Or do you know of anyway to get the partitioner in YaST to work?

Gparted I believe has a windows port. But it also has a live cd that i would recommend using it... no install needed

maybe try the gparted livecd?

you might want to watch what you delete. as you mentioned, your boot loader (grub) will reside with the first installation. i am not exactly sure how you would go about repairing that with opensuse, but this web site seems to have some info:
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:YaST_System_Repair#Automatic_Repair

Boot problems:

* Errors due to manual editing of the boot loader (GRUB) or menu.lst can be corrected. Even if the boot loader was deleted entirely, the "Automatic Repair" can restore it. This procedure comprises the installation and full configuration of the boot loader (GRUB).
* Linux can no longer be booted after overwriting the master boot record with "fdisk /mbr" or "FIXMBR". "Automatic Repair" can solve this problem by installing the boot loader anew and performing all needed entries.

I got rid of the unused linux partitions, I deleted them with the winxp disk manager & made my data partition bigger to use that space with Partition Magic.
