Nice, are you using the stock cooler and if so, what % are you running the fan at?

Wow that's a nice overclock with no mods, I haven't read up much on 4870 oc's. I guess all that extra power supply on the card does some good.

It has a higher stock voltage compared to the 4850.

Woppy, is that 24/7 stable or just '06 stable?

Nice. Don't push it too far, around 1200 is the limit for this memory and can cause people problems at around that speed. You don't want to have to RMA/keep a broken card due to corrupt memory :p

no mate the fan fix doesnt work with amdgpu clock tool so when i am benching it spools up to100% then drops to idle evey few seconds mate but the stock cooler on this thing is better than ppl think i didnt see my temps get above 70c while benchmarking

Do you see any actual difference when playing a game when you overclock like that?

of course, you can see a change of 10fps or more sometimes. It's pretty big when you're comparing 50fps to 40fps or 60->75.

I had changes of 15+fps when I Oc'd my 3870 to its current speed.
