I am going to have a local computer shop build a tower for me. i trust them and all but i would like second opinions
So i would like to go with:
Fastest dual core i can get: E8500 (maybe go with quad in 2 yrs)
Motherboard: should i look for ddr2/ddr3 support? which speeds to look for?
Graphics: ATI 4870X2, not sure which brand, never had an ATI card
Sound: onboard if its good enough, all i need is 5.1
PSU: i am lost on this one as far as good name brand and wattage
Ram: fastest ddr2, probably 4 GB
Hard drive: i dont know this one either. need about 250 GB, but again i would want a fast one.
Main thing is i love FPS's and i will be getting a 24''-30'' monitor to game on.
I also am not an overclocker. budget would be close to 2500 with them buiding it.
