Hey guys, i'm starting a new comp build. As you can see in my Sig that i have the old MSI K8N neo 2. That baby is almost 5 years old. Lost track of pc build for a while and now its time to upgrade.
Here's what i have
MSI k9a2cf
pair of 2gb mushkin pc2 6400 ram
athlon 64 5600
850w psu
dual 4850 in cross fire.
still playing around with the oc of it, so far got the CPU at 3.3ghz 300x11 now my question is, i'm a little confused about HT link. I have a multi of 1 to 13 and i have it oc'd to 4 x 300. I'm reading about my board and it says it supports ht link 3.0 which is 2600mhz? Now i'm confused, i have an AM2 processor but not a AM2+, i was just wondering what my HT Link speed limitations are. I would love to set it to 2600mhz if i can but not sure really. I know the old K8 board i have you can only have the HT to 1ghz, so any ideas.
