xp steppings...which?

hey guys, i am lookin at an xp 1500 and need to know what the best steppings are if it matters need fast responce plzzz tribes2 ladders are coming up!

Ive just been looking for the exact same thing.

Have you checked the database on the overclockers.com site.

There are some steppings listed for XP chips.

What stepping did you get ?

Mine is a week 46 AGNGA Y, ive only seen this stepping on Xp-1900 chips and mine is a Xp-1700.

have not yet gotton one, just wondering so when i build my new system i shall know what to go for!

Ive just been doing some reading and it seems that there is very little useful information on Xp steppings and overclocking.

There just arnt anough chips around to make usefull comparisons.

It certainly dosent seem like there is a killer stepping like the AXIA with XPs.

Id just try to get the newest chip you can, regardless of stepping.

Im happy with getting a week 46 the only other data I could find for my stepping was for XP-1900 chips, so im hoping for a good overclock.

P.S..the Xp-2000 has its own stepping OGOGA (or something like that)
