so i run SLI and am pondering a relatively cheap upgrade to a intel rig...

i was looking at a BFG 680i motherboard, and was wondering if it is still worth the money ($140).

i would like to run a wolfdale proc with it... does anyone know if the mobo will support wolfdale out of the box, or if i am going to have to do a bios update to it?

i wouldn't be making the move too soon, as i would like to see the results that people are getting with the e0 stepping.

thanks!

no!! stay clear of the 680i... mine died in less than a year, very unstable for overclocking, generally a very mediocre board, i agree with EmAn and go with a 750i or possibly a 780i... personally im going with the 780i as it has 2 more sata ports and has 7.1 onboard support which the 750i doesnt have....
