Tiny upgrades are worth it only if you can do it for free or very, very cheaply.

Depending on your board or FSB limitations, the Q6700 will allow an easier clock due to it's higher multi. I was very please with mine, but I did get a nice one that did 4ghz and 500 fsb fairly easily.
