I just got the 5000B.E. for the wife, I will be upgrading my socket 939 setup soon, I may have to give the 5400B.E. a try. Would like to see some feedback how they do with new motherboards that just came out.

I'm considering holding off on a Phenom 9950 and buying a 5400+BE to hold me over until Deneb shows up. This 5400+BE should be an excellent stepping from a very mature 65nm process. My guess is is that it can hit 3.4Ghz on air easy.
