Math check: GTX280 = $390 - $280 = $110.

Yes, it's a $30 rebate to make it $390, but the 4850 has a rebate too so I figured it was fair game
As for GX2 being cheaper, I'd assume it's because they have a ton of G92 chips in stock and the design isn't getting any younger. GTX 280 by most accounts has horrible yields and costs something like $110 just to make the GPU itself.
