Hi fellas first post, after a quick bit of advice if poss :santa2:

AMD Athlon x2 5000 to a 6000x2

Stock clock speed of 5000 - 2600Mhz Although Its OCed to 2900Mhz

Stock speed of 6000 - 3000Mhz - OCing headroom seems to about 3.2ish

So not a great deal to be gained there but the 6000 Has a 2mb L2 cache where as the 5000 only has 1mb. (dont really know much about what that means my man instincts tell me bigger must be better)

Spend or save the 60 quid?

No, 6000 is as far I can go unfortunately, I got trigger happy and ordered anyway lol

Thanks for the reply though :)
