Scythe Infinity Question.

Is it possible to replace the mounting on it? It has the same mounting mechanism as stock Intel LGA775 heatsinks .. is there a way of disassembling the plastic mounts without breaking them?

Not sure if this is compatible with your heatsink, but thermalright has a replacement bolt-on kit that can be used to replace those ever so annoying push pin things that come with the stock intel heatsink cooler. I've seen it being sold at local computer stores where I'm located.

Yes it is possible, check the forum someone modded an infinity put a shroud on it and replaced the nolt trough kit as well.
