So i have been using an IDE drive on my Abit IP35 just fine untill it died and all other ide drives that i had laying around were either dead or faulty and i've not got a SATA (yet) so i installed a scsi card and connected a cd drive to it and it works fine in windows.

The problem i have is i want to re-install windows and also install linux but i can't seem to figure out how to boot from this drive in order to install both OS's, i've been in the bios and can't seem to see anything in the boot devices that will let me boot from this drive.

I'd appreciate any help and thanks in advance.
