Am I getting a hit in performance with 2nd monitor

Hi,
I recently got a Samsung 22" touch of color to replace my 19 inch westinghouse. I want to use the westy now to monitor my system during gameplay. Will I get a performance hit if I'm just in 2-D mode in one monitor, and the 22" in 3-d mode.

i would say yes. if u want to run the second screen with no loss of performance and only to monitor the comp during game play y not use on board video? that wont stress ur VC at all

On board video? I havn't had that sience my old m-ATX 939 board

. I wonder If I should pick up a cheap PCI-E card and use that.
