Good Day

I am running into some temp issues right now.
My Temps are kinda screwy and I am looking for a solution on how to get them in the 35-45C range on air.

Currently my temps are 44C Lowest Idle
57C at load.

I am running 3 120mm Scythe Fans 1 intake, 1 output, 1 CPU.

This is what I am running in my rig:

Mainboard: Asus M2N SLI Delux
Proc: AMD Athlon XP 6000+ 3.03GHZ
Cooler: Sythe Ninja 120mm Fan
Ram: Cosair XMS 2 DDR2 800 5-5-5-18 2T (4GB) 830MHZ
Video: PNY 8500GT 512
Case: Cheiftech Mesh series
PSU: 650w Bargain Band (will be upgrading to a Cosair 620 Modular)
Liteon DVD Burner
Sythe Fan Controller (7 Fans)
HDD: WD Caviar 250 (System)
WD Caviar 750
(3x Segate 250)

If any more info is needed Just ask and I will provide you with what you need.

ok I have cleaned out the bunnies already that is a check.

I am waiting until the weekend to clean, reapply and reseat the heatsink

The fans that I am using now bring through 50CFM Per fan. Is that sufficient or should I go with something higher?

CnQ is enabled in BIOS and OS?
For a stove like X2 6000+ your temps are fine. What's your ambient temperature?

BTW Ninja is made for fanless operation not for high CFM fans.

It is enabled int he bios but I haven't figured out how to enable it in Vista.

The Ambient Temp stays near 21C.

I will try it without the fan running.

In Vista is enabled by default.
Hmm, 21°C... You should have somehow smaller temperatures. In idle at least.
I have a Ninja rev.B. Fanless. It served me well on my ex-X2 3800+ and now it serves me very well on E8400 stock and @3.5GHz.

But IMO 57°C in full-load is perfect fine for a hot X2 6000+.

50 CFM is crap for your main exaust fans. Get 80 CFM + AND realize that grills/filters greatly reduce your CFM. Your fans may be rated at 50, but are only pushing 30 which leaves huge "hot pockets" of air in your case.
