Since there is a XP version, and therefor the nessassary drivers, it should be very simple. Only thing I would be concerned about is HD space depending on what model you have.

No problem, just wipe the partitions and go.
If you have the SSD, it may not be as nice an experience to go with XP as you think. Get the hard disk Linux version.
