Zalman VF900 for 8800Gt?

I currently have the zalman installed on an 1800xl and it does look like a direct fit as well as the zalman website shows it too.

My question is the ramsinks, How many ramsinks are needed for the 8800gt, and could I use the one's that I have installed on the 1800? If so, what kind of paste would be needed for this?

The Zalman VF900 does fit a 8800 GT. The heatsinks you linked to are for the PWM chips not the memory chips They are a good idea. I believe there are 8 memory chips on the 8800 GT. The memory heatsinks from your 1800xl will probably fit.

Thermal tape works for attaching the heatsink and can be removed if you need to. I use the Arctic Silver Alumina or the A/S ASTA-7G thermal adhesive. I don't see any temp difference between them and the Alumina is cheaper. These are epoxy based permanent adhesives(Using these will void your warranty as you can't replace the stock cooler for RMA).
