What do I need to be able to play my Wii on my monitor? It has both DVI and VGA input. I've asked at a few shops but they don't stock stuff like this :bang head

You need something like this: http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?page...ion=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&vmcchk=1&Itemid=1

Alternately, if you're using a computer (i.e. you have this monitor plugged into your computer and you want to play your console that way) you can grab yourself a TV Tuner card and do it that way. I used to do that, and it worked out famously with my Gamecube and PS2.

Ninja Edit: I also found this over at play-asia.com: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-10z-49-en-70-2jp6.html

Hey Oni, kind of on-topic, but what TV tuner card did you use for your PS2 and GameCube? I still play both of those systems because there's a lot of games I need to catch up on, and thought about using one to play at my computer.

I actually used the cheapest one I could find. Any of them will work so long as they support the correct inputs.

The reviews are terrible, though :( I've read nothing good about that adaptor. Plus, I'd rather not buy a tuner card.

Sorry to tell you this, Super Fudge but that's the same cable as Oni recommended :p

I'm gonna drive to a local electronics store soon to see if they have anything in stock because that Wii/PS3 - VGA cable doesn't seem to be that great :(

but the one Oni linked is out of stock and the other one comes from Hong Kong. The one I linked is in stock and does not have to be shipped internationally. Sorry Crana and Oni but you BOTH lost the game.

Damn you! :p

Bah, forget it, I don't want to settle for a crap quality converter, so I'll just use my TV. Thanks anyway guys.

Oni, was there much lag through your tv card?

I used my GC through a tuner card on my pc for a while and found the lag unbearable, but if there were some way to do this lag free, that'd be great..

I never experienced lag of any kind, be it audio or video. Both my GC and PS2 ran flawlessly in this configuration :)

Try running your tv tuner through Media Player Classic.
