what you want to do with your new rig? The x1600 won't cut it for gaming.

well i plan to upgrade later on but for now i want to use it when i get my new rig as its the only thing i got, its been good to me so far but it wont cut it in the long run i know, but just wondering how it performs on a higher spec rig, i also mostly play source based games, mostly day of defeat source

if you don't mind running on low settings and low rez, it should be able to play cs:s and dod.

If you're playing Source-based games at 1024x768 you should be okay. Source is very dependent on CPU speed, but not so much on GPU power epecially at that resolution. It's always something that you can upgrade later on if/when you decide to expand your choice in games.
