If you have a P5QL Pro and want to clean off HDDs, (At least with ICH10) tough luck!
Looks like both MHDD and DBAN don't like the IDE controller.
MHDD sees nothing for HDDs and DBAN took a long time and then gave me an incorrectly written error message saying that it had a non-fatal error, but it crashed! Was forced to hard reboot.
Edit: DBAN version 2x has support for the Marvell PATA IDE controller.
But, DBAN failed to detect SATA IDE HDDs on the ICH 10 southbridge, even with PATA emulation.
