The stock heat sink for my E8600 is a joke and was wondering what everyone else is using to cool there CPU's

Thermalright Ultra 120 series seems to be pretty good, also the Zalman 9700 series.

Thanks the Zalman 9700 looks pretty good. Can you mount a 120mm fan on the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme? I prefer fan+heat pipe combo's

Yes you can, that's the beauty of it. You can mount 2 for push/pull config

Hey, Checkout the Zerotherm Zen. This HSF really cools well. Excellent for OCing that E8600. It is wide though so check dimensions before purchasing. Deal at Directron now for $29.99 after rebate.
