Please Help a Noob: Should I Go With SLI 9800GTX+

I've been assembling a new gaming computer and for the video card, I chose 2x 9800 GTX+, which is $280 for 2 cards after a $40 discount with the motherboard.

After doing some reading, I'm not entirely sure if I should go with these cards?

Should I go with 9800 GX2, or a 260 or 280 . . . or should I wait for something new and better?

Is the motherboard I had in mind that gives me the $40 discount.

The board you get with that is an AMD one, personally I wouldn't go for that, I would build something Intel based.

Personally I would grab a P45 board, and a GTX260 for $200 + shipping.

Card is $219.99 once you add it to your cart, plus a $20 MIR.

Plus you get this free bundle of stuff.

Definitely opt for the gtx 260. 9800gtx+ sli is very strong but a single card solution is always better.
