Ok, So I found 3.4/512/800 SL793 CPU on ebay for a good price. Only problem is that by the picture i see, it is missing either VID2 [most likely] or VID3 [i dont think]. Now I know these pins control the power to the chip in different voltages but im not sure what voltage these cover. I am still running an ASUS socket 478 mobo with a Vcore of 1.34 right now. Now, depending on what voltage this pin carried can I still use this cpu? would I have to wire anything together or put a replacement pin in to fix it? Should I just not worry about it and resell it? any quick help would be greatly appreciated thanks Oh, im running a 3.0ghz right now if that matters on the voltage for the new one.
