Problems restoring Acer Aspire One

I've been trying to create a recovery USB device, but so far I can't even get past the following screen:



I just copied across 200GB so I could use my external HDD but that didn't get me anywhere either

Any ideas? I'm thinking about contacting Acer. I want to sell my AAO, but I can't without reinstalling Linpus (I've modified it quite a bit)!

OK, I used my brothers computer and a 2GB memory stick and everything went fine
