CPU price drops with i7 launch?

I know the Q9550 just had a ~200 price drops a few months ago. Is there any chance there will be more price drops come the supposed November 17th i7 release date?

I need a CPU to finish a build, but it wouldn't kill me to wait.

I haven't heard anything, however I haven't been keeping track of Core2 prices either.

I would suspect prices to drop at least a little bit just because Intel usually has a price drop of some sort around a processor release. Perhaps the last price drop a few months ago was it, i'm not sure.
