2 250g in raid 0 or 1 300gb velicoraptor

would 2 WD or Seagate 250gb drives in raid 0 out perform a single Vraptor in a gaming machine?

thanks!

If you are moving large files then the RAID 0 would be faster. For 'normal' usage the Vraptor would be faster.

The single-platter Seagate 250GB drives are pretty quick, but the VR will still feel snappier due to seek times.

If you have some older 250GB drives composed of multiple platters then the VR might win in every category.
