Ok its broke.....

As you can see from the title this computer is goosed, there is so many things wrong with it i didn't know what Section to put it in, so its going in here :

Ok to begin,

Nforce 4MA Motherboard (About 50°)
AMD 5200+ Duelcore (About 43° idle, 70° under full load)
2GB DDR2 RAMbo 800 ( Too Hot to Touch lol )
Geforce 7800GTX 256mb ( Is cooking at about 68° when playing "The Sims" )
250GB Seagate sata ( Very Hot aswell, except its touchable )
Standard PSU, 650Watts ( Blowing out Extremely Hot air )
Its a Zorro Case, fitted with 2 Rear, 2 Frontal and 1 side case fan

OK the fan that is on the CPU is a Coolermaster, It hasent got a name on it and i cant find it on the website, i can upload a picture if requested, but this fan is also Blowing out piping hot air but i have realised the fan is very close to the side of the case, about 1inch away.

So far it sounds like a heat problem but i dont think it is just the heat, The graphics card will sometimes crash and the driver will stop responding and the screen will go Black for about 10-15 minutes, this only happens while playing games, i have tried lots of different drivers and none of them seem to be working.

Now we get to the HDD, this is very annoying, when it starts up, it makes a stutter sound as if the needle is skipping on a record player, and the full computer stutters with it, you try to move the mouse, it eventualy moves after the stutter, then it does it again, this mostly happens on startup, installing Programs, Starting up games.

Also the dust buildup is Uber weird, does not matter how clean the room is, this thing needs to be cleaned out like once every 10 days. And the temperature of the room is cool.

Next up, Plugging jacks, USB's or whatever into the back, half of the time it will not respond, takes it like 5 minutes to recognize the USB and Controllers and Joysticks have lags on them at times, and when you try to unplug it, it burns your bloody finger. My speakers get a constant static noise when on too.

Sometimes the Computer will just randomly Switch off at the worst times, mostly in a good fight in CoD4 or BF2, its let me down so many times

All in all i think its the size of the case, the computer is about 14 months old, built for my Girlfriends Christmass becuase her mum is a cheapskate
Everything was bought brandnew.

So peeps, help me out on this one please , i dont want to buy a new system if its just a stupid case problem, Cheers

UPDATE : Ok Reversed the side fan, everything seems to be running a little cooler than before, but the problem with the HDD and piping hot air from the PSU still exists.
Right about now im on my way out to pick up a 50mm fan, but im a little stumped on where it should be placed, if its possible i will post a picture and you can mark where it should be put for me, thanks very much

I know from first hand experience that the 7800GTX can go to a max of 95c - well its 115c - but i wouldnt let it go past 95 myself.

Secondly - the dust and temperatures are a perfect sign that you have lots of fans blowing OUT but none blowing in. What is happening is that because your PSU and exhaust fan is blowing out, the little holes in your case are sucking air in - and dust with it. You need more fans blowing IN - slightly more in than out - so the cracks and holes in your cases have air blowing out - rather than sucking in and creating your dust problem.

Also tidy up the inside of your case - hide the wires as much as you can. It would help if you could post a picture or two of the inside of your computer like this: That way we can see where your airflow problems are:

Ok the back 2 fans are Blowing out, and the Front 2 are blowing In, the side one is also Blowing out, wires and that seem to be out of the way of the fans, but i will try and get a picture in 10 minutes.

The side fan should be blowing in for a start - so that it blows cold air directly onto your Graphics Card and CPU.

Hmm.. Firstly i gotta ask - and i dont mean it in a rude way, honestly - but here goes: "what the hell is that on your CPU? I looks like a motorbike turbo, or a TEC or something!"

Secondly - I know why your so warm. Turn the fan on the side of the case around and let it blow in. I think you have the CPU cooler on sideways - it should be blowing toward the back of your case. The hot air from the CPU cooler is blowing straight into the PSU - and could be causing problems.

Third - I know of a little mod you can do to your 7800GTX to make it run cooler. The stock cooler is terrible. I owned a pair of these in SLI - and they get HOT HOT HOT. They blow air directly into the case and BOY the air is HOT.

If you have a 50mm fan - you can cut a hole out of the plastic on the graphics card cooler and screw it directly onto the cooler. The screws will fit snugly in-between the fins. Have teh fan blowing onto the card - not sucking. It will drop your temps around 20c on your card. You can also do a BIOS mod on that card to make it run quicker - those little suckers were pretty good in the day - you can get pretty darn good OC's on them. They are very power-hungry though, and throw out a whole bunch-o-heat.

Also - just by looking at your PSU - it doesnt look like its up to the job - It has no fans sucking in at all - so it cant be pumping any real amps into your computer. I would have thought you have been running that little thing ragged the past year and now its on its knee's begging for retirement. That 7800GTX is a hungry card.

Have you got the 6-pin plug in your graphics card plugged into both rails or just one? You should have 2 molex plugs - make sure you have each one plugged into different rails.

lol, dont worry that wasent rude and that fan actually Blows from the tip where all the fins are, not out the sides, and it can be moved around depending on the size of your case lol, so basicaly this fan is kinda fighting with the side fan case., and yeah the molex's are on different rails

I will be swaping that side case fan around the now, so a reply might take a bit, its a pain to take off for some reason
