Benchmark Problem!!!!

i tried to benchmark my POV 8600GT 1GB using 3DMark03......
everything was fine until i reached to the 'CPU Test 1'.....
suddenly the benchmark got aborted and i see a message saying "The following application needs to be run in 800x600 resolution"......
this happened each time i tried to benchmark.....
my desktop resolution is already 1024x768....

then why did this happen?

Can your monitor support that resolution? I'm not sure what else could be wrong.

The CPU tests are always run in 800x600. Something is preventing your system from switching over during that test.

If you are only using that benchmark to see how your card goes, push Esc just before the cpu test starts to load.
This will still give you the full score, as the cpu test is not needed for that.

My bad, I didn't proof read. CPU bench tests usually run at the lowest res. to single out the cpu. If your monitor can support 800x600 at the required refresh rate, you got me.
