PCI Intake?

Still can't find any PCI Intake fans. Seems kind of silly since it sounds to me extremely logical to pull in cold air and blow it directly over GPU.

Exhaust fans that mount below GPU sounds silly. IMO they'll compete with GPU fan and actually result in less cooling, and that's not good.

One user said he'd removed fans from a PCI cooler to create a duct and got great results from that.

I have another idea. Several of the PCI coolers have a mounting bracket that appears removeable and reversible. That said, why not reverse one and mount it ABOVE your GPU, so that the GPU Fan pushes air over the heatsinks, where it travels over the edges of the card and into the PCI exhaust which is mounted to encourage air flow. Any thoughts on the feasibility of this?

Or perhaps ... duct below, exhaust above? That might cause GPU to be cooled independently of other case components which would be very good.

They dont work that well, and make more noise then they should.

Generally speaking, most hot air is get blown out the back of the case, thus in some ways youll be sucking in some of that warm air as well. Plus, these PCI coolers have no filters.
