hi every1,i have 2 sticks of 2 gig of ram each i cant get it to run at full speed(1066)viper xtreme performance pc2-8500 with timins as follows 5,5,5,15 and 2,.1 volts, it runs fine at 800mhz,but if i set it to 1066 i get bsod.my specs are intel e8500 oc to 3.6and no voltage increases,p52 deluxe, vista 32.

hey thnx for ur reply i have it set the trfc to 60 as u said, now it boots ok in to windows i also have se the nortbridge strap tp 400,is that ok,the only thing is that when iam playing games it crushes,my cpu is set to 7x533.

k i lower cpu fsb to 500 and multiplyer to7.5 and seems to stable now i guess i cant go over 500 fsb

18 is # 1:

I know tRFC is the row refresh cycle time, but does it correlate with the frequency at which the RAM is running?

What should mine be set to for DDR3 1600Mhz?

I'm using 2x2gb of ddr3. I have a completely stable OC on my Q9450 @ 3.01Ghz. Passed prime, passed memtest 86.

I Cant get stable at 400Mhz FSB though. which would take me up to 3.2Ghz. I passed 6 hrs of small fft, but fail the other 2 instantly. I also fail memtest86 after 75% at 400FSB.

so i guess 500fsb is good lol,iam sorry iam just a noob at overcloking here
